The Sha'l herd of the Peninsula
Mahubat: rare Sha'l camels
Mahubat is a herd of rare Sha'l camels, one of the colours judged in the camel contests, owned by businessman Mishal bin Jadaan Al-Zayadi and known as «the Sha'l herd of the Peninsula». It shows at the King Abdulaziz Camel Festival at Al-Sayahid, where its individual «Sumu» took first place in the Sha'l jal class at the tenth festival.
«A pure herd that gladdens the heart», and the acquisitions go on: «only the rare finds its way to Mahubat's audience».

What the poets said
We gave our pledge, and the Bedouin never break a pledgefor the bounds of our land we give our lives
We take pride in our love of camels and their storied pastand whoever blames us for loving our heritage, let him go
You are the master of Mahubat, and your deeds command respectyour glory is greater than theirs whose glory is only talk
Because of you the wide passes grew narrow for your rivalswho, from the grief of defeat, can barely draw breath
